so friday. the 13th. oooohhhh.

so in the morning we had a couple talks. we learned about the internships that uwp offers, which are awesome. basically they are a six week internship, and there's lots of different ones you can get and at the end you get a letter of recommendation and you can use it on your resume and stuff. i really want to try and get the vocal one. wouldn't that be unreal?!?! and then they did a talk on documenting the experience - which made me feel very guilty and is why i'm catching up on all this blogging this weekend.

then we broke up into our home teams which is like a group of 6 people and 2 crew from the same color group. lets see if i can name them all. crew is jeremy(california) and raphael (venezula and canada). cast is me, johnny (california), gina (arizonia), guido (my little italian love), tiffiny (colorado), sarah (kentucky but studies in haiwii), emmy (oh crap, sweden or the netherlands.), umm i think thats it. god i hope thats it. i'm soo sorry if i missed someone.

anyways then the lunch thing again. and then down in the band room for the whole afternoon again. this day it seemed way longer. i was kinda in a bad mood, i'll admitt it. probably just tired and worn out. or maybe because of the day? friday the 13th?! maybe?! hahah.

but on the bright side i learned most of aikeo. or aieko. not sure which. but anyways its one of the harder keys songs so i hear. unless they lied to me. but anyways i've got the main parts memorized already so it'll be easy to get the rest down i think. alright!

then we came home. but at the bus station matt (our host dad) and armondo's (guy on the crew from mexico) host dad whitney were their together to get us. we went back to armondo's host house cause our families are friends. so it was awesome. we sat around and talked and heard about some of armondo's crazy host families from his travels. and i tried guacamole and shrimp. loved the shrimp . . . not so much the guac. and then we played this really cool card game called pit. its like hands or spoons but a special deck of cards with different commodities on them (coffee, wheat, oranages etc). so you have to trade with everyone and try to get all nine of one commodity. haha it was hard core - nine people playing and shouting at each other. so then we came home and went to bed.
